The limited edition winder is totally aBlogtoRead.com branded. The logo is placed with gold foil on the top of the leatherette wrapped box, the winding house ring is in gold, there is an aBlogtoRead.com logo on the front of the watch cuff, and the cloth used on the cuff and the front of the winder is done in a special "aBlogtoRead.com" repeating pattern (that is my favorite detail).
Like most Richard Mille watches this one will come in titanium, red gold, or white gold. Richard Mille likes to mostly show their watches in industrial looking titanium to present themselves in the most "functional" light possible. But the reality of course is that their pieces are high-end items with customers who like their products in gold. What is interesting however is that even on the titanium model, the crown and function selector pusher are in 18k red gold.
Trapezium is a word that sounds both geometric and acrobatic. Does that mean it is both difficult to compute and perform? Yes. Those adjectives more than likely define this new watch by Cabestan well. The new Trapezium is an evolved version of their famous Winch Tourbillon Vertical watch and is the brainchild of Cabestan's own (and very talented) Eric Coudray.
As a limited edition Overseas model this Chronograph Perpetual Calendar Boutique New York timepiece is actually a lovely looking model. Limited to just 20 pieces it will no doubt prove hard to get and be rare. With the popularity of the brand these days I think they won't have too much trouble with the asking price of ,900 - even though it is very expensive for a steel watch.
Regulator Retrograde: A1041/4 and A3014/5
Inside the watch is a Swiss Sellita SW200 automatic movement which is basically the same as an ETA 2824. Marvin always tends to do straps rather well and the one on this Malton 160 Cushion is no different. It is a perforated leather, in green, with a red lining. When is a watch like this a good idea aside from St. Patrick's day? And when you want to be a frog prince? Green has been working its way back "in" and I think that you could pull this watch off in a number of casual occasions.
